LIVE does not collect personal data for analytics, advertising or user profiles. No account is required. We do not sell your personal information.

What stays on your device

Your color, text size, speed, saved stories, feed history and selected city are stored locally in the app or your browser. We do not upload them to a developer account or analytics service. The paired iPhone shares a headline snapshot, theme and chosen city with your Apple Watch; the widget uses the app’s shared on-device storage.

Optional local news

You can type a city or choose Use My Location. Location is requested only when you use that control; there is no continuous background location tracking. The native app uses Apple’s location and geocoding services to resolve a city. The website rounds coordinates to two decimal places before sending them through its server to OpenStreetMap’s geocoding service. The city is sent to Google News to request local headlines. We do not maintain a location history or persist visitors’ cities on our website server. Hosting providers may retain request logs as explained below.

Requests needed to deliver the wire

Fetching public RSS headlines and price snapshots requires internet requests. The native app contacts the news, market and geocoding providers directly. The website requests headlines and prices through its hosting server, which caches public news and market responses temporarily. These connections necessarily expose technical information such as an IP address and request metadata to the service receiving them.

When you open an original story, that publisher’s website and privacy policy apply. LIVE does not control the publisher’s cookies, subscriptions or tracking.

Website hosting and fonts

This website is hosted by Hostinger and uses Adobe Fonts. These services receive the technical requests needed to serve pages and fonts and may keep their own operational or security logs, including IP addresses and requested URLs. We have not added analytics scripts, advertising trackers, tracking cookies or session recordings to LIVE. We do not use hosting access logs to build user profiles.

Purchases

Apple handles App Store payments. LIVE does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple’s App Store privacy terms apply to purchases.

Your choices and deletion

Use LIVE without location permission, enter a city manually, or disable location access in device or browser settings. Removing the app deletes its local data subject to your device’s backup settings; clearing this website’s browser storage removes its saved preferences. Paired Watch data is stored separately and can be removed by deleting that app. There is no LIVE account or developer-held user profile to delete.
